The 186th Convention of the Diocese of Georgia

hosted by the Church of the Good Shepherd

in Augusta, Georgia  February 7-9, 2008 has ended
 

At the convention, Bishop Henry Louttit announced his retirement effective on the consecration of the 10th Bishop of Georgia. The Standing Committee announcement that they are working with the pastoral development office of the National Church to plan the election and transition. More information will be available on this in upcoming issues of The Church in Georgia.
