2. WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES? (What words or ideas are difficult to understand? What is troubling about the reading? Here’s where you may need to do some research or speak to your mentor.)
3. WHAT IS THE GOOD NEWS? (What is comforting about the reading? Where do you see God’s love shining through? Here is where you discover the theme or motif of the reading.)
4. WHAT DOES THE TEXT MEAN—WHAT ARE THE APPLICATIONS ? (Where does the reading touch your life and the life of your parishioners, the community, the world? Jot down no more than three points. Here is the application of the Good News.)
