Re:          February 29— March 1, 2008 DSM Weekend

I am looking forward to seeing each of you at Honey Creek on the twenty-ninth. I trust that you are working on this competency and am interested in seeing where you are on your path.

Story and sharing are very important. We will have time to share our experiences and help each other complete the work. We will examine the competency and see what might be updated or changed.

I hope that each of you are currently working on the “story” of your parish or mission church. It is important that the deacon be familiar with this history and be able to communicate it to new comers and others who have an interest.
