Epiphany
The Christmas Season with colored lights has gone,
The Savior born and now the New Year sprung.
The Twelve Days of Christmas now are past,
A year 'til that song once more is sung.
The Star light that to the manger,
Three magi's path did lead,
Shines for saint and sinner still,
to guide us to the Lord, our greatest need.
For more than just a child this infant mild.
More than a king to rule, this gentle child.
Before the Sun and Moon, before time was begun.
Before the Seas there was the Word that is the Son.
And in the fullness of God's love for what he's made,
The Word was sent to dwell among us and obeyed.
The perfect love of God incarnate came.
The Word made flesh of woman, given name.
Jesus is he, the Father's only Son.
Lord of heaven and earth, the Holy One.
The Savior who is Christ, Eternal King
