Together, We Grow

In the Episcopal Diocese of Georgia

A diverse community of faith

moving forward in the example of Christ

2007 Brochure

Collect I

O God, by your grace you have called us in this diocese to a goodly fellowship of faith. Inspire our hearts with understanding so that indeed together, we may grow. Guide us now in the development and focus of our action teams; encourage them to follow your will in all they do. Bless us as we come together, and help us to begin to apply this program throughout the diocese, moving forward in the example of Christ to the honor and glory of your name. Amen.

Collect II

O Lord Our God, we give you thanks for the many gifts you have bestowed upon the Diocese of Georgia, for the faith and dedication of its clergy and laity, and for the gift of the talents abounding in its parishes and missions. Give us, we pray, the wit and the will to identify and use those talents to shape our diocese to be what you would have it be and to serve you ever better as together, we grow. We ask this in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ Our Lord.

Amen.
